This is a good Chinese bronze figural censer cast as a seated lion dog with great charm and character. The antique piece is from the 19th century circa 1880 and has good detail to the design with scrolling mane and tail, fangs and teeth to the hinged head. This retains much of its original gilding and is in excellent condition with no damage or restoration. Four character mark cast to the base.


The piece measures 17 cms by 20 cms by 11 cms
