Superb Georgian Tripod Table - Ebony Stringing - c1800
This Georgian mahogany table is a lovely size and very versatile.
The table is presented in excellent order throughout and benefits from great proportion and indicators of quality such as ebony stringing to the legs.
A rectangle table top rides upon an attractively turned centre column with tilt mount. A trio of ebony strung sweeping legs elegantly support the piece. The legs terminate in an original cap & castor.
The table benefits from fine colour to the top surface and the piece has great patina.
Overall this piece of antique furniture is in very good condition. The table is well constructed and solid. An excellent and interesting piece.
