Delightful set of 6 late Georgian oak dining chairs c.1810. The design is a country vernacular interpretation of a Chippendale chair, with a shaped top rail and flat baluster form back splat. Over simple board seats raised on square legs (with chamfered inside corner), joined with side and cross stretchers. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
