Set of 6 Victorian mahogany dining chairs bar back
Antique set of 6 Victorian 19th Century mahogany bar back dining chairs.
Date from the Victorian period or possibly a little earlier.
A great rare find, with a lovely warm mellow colour, age, patina and charm.
Solid heavy chairs, with no loose joints.
Sought after style of dining chair, with padded backs for extra comfort.
The upholstery is a new heavy weight fabric (natural cream/straw/gold).
Overall maximum dimensions
Chair 48cmW x 50cmD x 88cmH (44cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery. A few historic extinct woodworm holes in the seat rails that have been treated for good measure.
