Set of 4 mahogany Regency William IV dining chairs
Antique set of 4 mahogany Regency / William IV dining chairs.
Date from C1820-1840. Fantastic age, colour and patina.
Solid and strong with no loose joints.
No woodworm.
Good recent reupholstery job, only very minor marks or signs of use.
Overall maximum dimensions
47cmW x 54cmD x 84cmH (41cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. Historical structural repairs (to be expected with any period set of dining chairs), but all is good and strong now. Some later (but still very old) small screws have been added behind the bar backs.
