Offered for sale is this good set of four Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs in superb original condition. The well proportioned robust chairs are a lovely rich brown colour and are of a dense mahogany. The set of four mahogany balloon back chairs have a shaped back rail above carved centre splat with newly reupholstered overstuffed seats on turned supports and date to about 1870. The set of four balloon back chairs are in excellent showroom condition with all joints firm and have been cleaned, revived and waxed along with the seats reupholstered in a neutral cream and gold fabric. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining tables to satisfied customers.
