A Scottish Provincial Silver Dessert Spoon, made in Montrose by Peter lambert and dating from c1835.
There is an engraved initial on the handle.
The spoon is hallmarked with the maker's mark "PL" for Peter Lambert, alongside the Scottish thistle and the pot O' lillies for Montrose.
It measures just over 6 3/4" inches (170mm) in length.
This rare spoon is in excellent condition and would make a great addition to any collection.
