A GOOD SCOTTISH PROVINCIAL SILVER SPOON, FOWLER, ELGIN, c1795.
A very good Scottish Provincial Silver Dessert Spoon made by Charles Fowler of Elgin.
The spoon marked with the maker's mark CF, the town mark ELN for Elgin and the letter D.
Charles fowler is recorded as working in Elgin around 1790-1800.
The spoon is in excellent condition.
It measures approximately 7 1/4" inches (185mm) in length. The weight is approximately 31.4g.
