A lovely child’s school desk. We date this desk to the 1940/50s.

The desk sits on square section legs that are braced with an H stretcher. The desk has two hinged lids that lift to reveal the storage area.

As can be seen in the pictures the paint is showing a fair amount of wear from past use.

The desk has a height of 26" (66cm), a width of 40.5" (103cm) and a depth of 18" (46cm).

This lovely school desk remains in good solid condition with surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are some usage marks to the insides from past use. One of the lids has an age gap to the wood.

This remains a very stylish and elegant desk
that will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
