A very decorative rosewood Prie Dieu (prayer) chair, c1850s. Made of rosewood, high upholstered back with decorative top and finials, barley twist side supports. upholstered seat, carved legs and barley twist stretchers, original brass and porcelain castors. Newly upholstered in velvet fabric. In very good original condition.
