Circa 1820, exhibition quality rosewood and leather library chair. The high back chair is in olive green leather with piping and close brass studding, with winged sides which form the arms and lead on to the stuffover seat. A deep rosewood apron has a carved disc design and it all stands on turned, fluted and tapering legs which finish on deep brass cup and brown porcelain castors.
