Ronald Moseley Oil Painting Hunt in Full Cry


We are offering for sale this beautifully executed oil on canvas by the artist RONALD MOSELEY, who has signed the painting in the lower right hand corner. The painting depicts a hunt, led by the Master and huntsmen with their pack of hounds, in full cry after a fox.
RONALD MOSELEY was born in Marple, Cheshire in 1931. After secondary general education, he attended Manchester School of Art. After two years National Service, where he mostly spent his time paintings portraits of his officers' wives, he went to Canada, where he pursued his favourite hobby of climbing and painting The Rockies.
He then spent eleven years in South Africa, where wildlife, the African people and Table Mountain became his favourite subjects. Many of his works were commissioned by The World Wildlife Foundation.
Since returning to England, he has settled in the North of England and his subject matter includes, the Lake District, the Cotswolds, Hunting and Scotland.

The painting is framed in a 3 1/2" ornate swept gilt frame and will be supplied wired and ready to hang.

Condition Excellent in all respects. There is no craquelure, paint loss, or stretcher marks. The frame is in excellent condition.
