A lovely Bureau or Desk of Queen Anne design and dating to the 1920's. Wonderful quality construction and having the automatic lopers to hold the flap which come out as you open the flap. Made from Walnut with excellent tight Burr Walnut. All the drawers run smoothly and fitted with original brass handles. The lockable (key present) flap open the reveal a leather writing surface, we have replaced the leather, also 4 drawers and pigeon holes. The carving around the base is crisp and well executed.
All in all a very good quality piece that having been re finished by us to a very high standard is in excellent condition for the home.
