Quality silver photo frame on a solid wood easel back by Charles S Green & Co, 1918. Broad silver frame with elegantly shaped arch top. Solid mahogany back with hinged support. Retaining slot to bottom together with swivel clips to secure its back-board. Clear hallmarks for the Birmingham Assay Office 1918 and makers CSC & Co. The frame measures 23cm (maximum) in height and 15.5cm in width. Its aperture measures 16.5cm x 11.5cm. Viewing welcomed - please contact us in advance.

Date 1918  1910s Antiques Material Silver Origin English Condition The frame is in overall excellent condition commensurate with age. The mahogany back is complete. One of the retaining clips is sprained however back-board is effectively retained in location. The silver frame shows very minor signs of age and use.
