Pair Victorian Carved Oak Throne Chairs
A pair of very imposing large Victorian throne chairs. With lovely tan leather and stud-work seat covering.
C1890.
Made of oak, in the 17th century style.
The chairs have wonderful carved back splats, having fruiting vines.
The arms of the chairs are exceptionally lovely, having carved mythical, dog like creatures to the front. With tan leather to the seat and arm rests.
Standing on turned supports.
The oak is a lovely rich warm medium colour. The tan leather has aged beautifully, so has lots of character. With wonderful stud-work which is in excellent condition.
The condition of the throne chairs is excellent antique condition, very minor signs of age and use to the wood. Signs of use to the leather, which gives it its lovely character.
Very solid, sturdy and strong.
