A fine pair of antique French Bronze two branch candelabra dating from circa 1830. In beautifully patinated bronze, decorated in neo-Pompeian style with a winged sphinx seated on a Corinthian seat above a waisted reeded socle ending on a square plinth base with four scrolled feet. Very good quality with wonderful colour and patination to the bronze.

Very good quality, with wonderful colour and patination to the bronze. An old mend to the stem off one of the candelabra (see photo 4). General wear and marks commensurate with age. One of the candelabra is missing its drip pans, but comes with a non-matching spare set.
