Pair Pitch Pine Gothic or Ecclesiastical Benches.
Great looking pair of 19th.c. pitch pine Gothic or Ecclesiastical benches c.1880. A mirrored pair, one end of each features a row of gothic arches over a pierced quatrefoil deisgn, the other end is a simple mortise and tenon construction. Compact proportions, likely originally used in a private chapel. Minimalist design with a plain backrest over a three plank seat with shaped arms to either side, all supported with a stretcher below. Excellent condition and lovely colour, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
