A magnificent pair of antique Victorian balloon back chairs in rosewood dating from circa 1870. Really good quality examples with beautifully figured rosewood frames, carved cross rails, stuff-over seats and shaped cabriole legs and carved feet. The seats have been fairly recently reupholstered. In good condition, good patina, would make a wonderful set of dining chairs.

Good condition. Fairly solid frames. Lovely age and patina to the rosewood. Wear and marks commensurate with age. Fairly recently reupholstered (a few small marks to the fabric). One decorative button missing to the frame on each chair, small piece missing to central back splat of one chair.
