Pair Of Victorian Mahogany Demilune Side Tables
A lovely pair of demilune antique tables. We date these antique tables to the mid 19th century.
The table tops each sit on four downward tapered square section legs with spade feet.
The table tops have a reeded edge with a deep plain apron.
The tables would have been part of a larger dining table at some time in the past.
The tables have a height of 28" (71cm), a depth of 22.5" (57cm) at deepest and a width of 48" (122cm) at widest.
These lovely tables remain in a good solid condition with only minor surface markings commensurate with age and usage. There are a couple of old repairs to the table tops and both tables have some minor mellowing with a slightly darker mark in the centre where something has sat. There is some wear to both tables including some minor indentation lines and some darker marks to the tables top surfaces. The reeded edges have some indentations and there is a little bit of inlay missing from the front corner of one leg.
This remains a very stylish and elegant pair of tables. They will continue to provide good service for many years to come.
