A very good pair of late 19th century armchairs in the Queen Anne style. Made from a good grade of solid walnut timber and attractive burr walnut veneers, now with a great depth of colour and patina. The vase shaped back splats are in burr walnut and are eye-catching. The scrolling arms, have carved detailing, a lovely feature. The elegant legs are sturdy and the chairs sit true, free from any wobbles. The upholstery is in very serviceable condition and the chairs are very comfortable to sit in. These charming chairs would work well in a number of different room scenarios of the modern home. They are offered for sale in excellent, original condition.
