Circa 1880, top quality pair of mahogany and brass stands. The tops of the stands have scooped interiors to retain the removable brass inserts which have stylish lifting handles. All standing on turned columns on a set of unusual quadruple splayed legs.

Size 89cm high x 40cm square on the base.
