Superb French "turtle" shaped cast iron coal scuttles with white enamel lids from the wonderful Victorian era. The cast iron hinged lids are beautifully decorated with flowers and leaves and are in good working order and only have some very small enamel losses. Standing on 4 iron legs these attractive coal scuttles will look great on either side of a fire place or they would make very decorative ice bucket or wine cooler and would look stunning on either side of a bar counter.
