Pair Of Ebonised And Mother Of Pearl Etagere
Very decorative pair of black lacquered and inlaid etagere side antique tables with brass mounts, circa 1900.
Beautifully inlaid with rosewood and mother of pearl to each tier and finished with the brass edging.
These tables will work well as a pair of bedside antique tables, but also as originally intended as free standing side antique tables.
The contrast of the rosewood and mother of pearl in the twisted inlay works very well with the polished ebonised finish.
They are both in good condition, just showing the age and use related marks as you would expect.
Measuring:
30 1/2” or 78cm high
13 3/4” or 35cm diameter
9 1/2” or 24cm height between shelves Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
Viewing here in Uppingham is very welcome in my spacious barn studio but also I have a showroom based within the Uppingham Antiques Centre, which is well worth a visit and have a good lunch in town too!
