Pair of Art Deco Silver Plate Pepper Shakers
This is a stylish Pair of Art Deco Silver Plate Pepper Shakers. The shakers are lighthouse shaped with circular bases tapering up to the caster tops with knob finials. They unscrew half way down the bodies for refilling.
There is no makers' mark but the shakers are British and date to around the 1920s/30s.
Condition is very good, with no dings or dents and just the superficial surface wear that you would expect with use and the passage of time. The screw tops fit smoothly and securely onto the bases. Please make sure to view all the photographs.
Each pepper shaker is 7cm / 2.75ins high and 4.5cm / 1.8ins in diameter across the base. The pair together weigh in at 222g / 7.8oz.
The shakers are stamped EPNS for silver plate on the undersides of the bases.
