Attractive pair of mid 19th.c. portraits in oil on canvas of a lady and gentleman c.1860. A good looking, and unusually cheerful, couple with good costume detail particularly in the lady’s bonnet. The frames are original but would appear to have been re-gilded. Excellent condition.
