Pair Georgian Revival mahogany leather elbow chair
Antique pair of Georgian revival mahogany elbow chairs with brown leather seats. These would make great desk, hall or feature chairs.
Quality chairs, labelled Cooke's (Finsbury) Limited with attractive 'x' frame backs.
The chairs are approximately 100 years old and date from the early 20C.
A great rare find, with fantastic proportions and styling.
Lovely colour, age, patina and charm.
No significant woodworm.
Solid and strong with no loose joints.
The seats are a soft brown leather, not new or original, with some wear and marks.
Overall maximum dimensions
55cmW x 57cmD x 90cmH (45cmH seat when sat on).
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, repairs and alterations, as is always the way with antique furniture of this age. We have not inspected beneath the upholstery.
