A good pair of antique early 20th century Arts and Crafts ‘Glastonbury’ armchairs dating from circa 1910. In solid oak with the distinctive shaped arms and raised on 'X' frame legs united by centre point stretcher, the backrests decorated with relief carved roses. The "tusked" joints held together with pegs, were designed to be removed to disassemble the chair for transportation. Good original condition, solid joints and construction.
