Rarely found as a pair, two 18th.c. style metamorphic monks seats c.1930. Solid oak throughout with carved detail to the circular backs which fold down to become table tops, while the single piece seat become a useful shelf below. Turned legs to the front and back with square stretchers above the feet. Excellent original condition with a nice colour.
