Original Victorian All Brass King-Size Bed
An excellent quality and very imposing Victorian all brass King-Size bed.
C1890.
Having heavy end posts to the head and footboard, topped with classic turned knobs. The footboard is particularly pretty, having scroll ends to the last bar.
Standing on the original over-sized porcelain castors.
Retaining the original sprung base, and side irons.
In original condition. The brass has a lovely naturally aged patina, and warm colour.
Fits a UK king-size 5ft mattress.
Dismantles into a headboard, a footboard, two side rails, and the spring base.
The bed will be dismantled ready for collection, we are happy to help with loading if required.
The overall condition is very good, with general signs of age and use, commensurate with age. Naturally aged patination to the brass. No dents. Strong and sturdy.
