A rare Set of Four Scottish Provincial Silver Forks made in Banff by William Simpson c1830.
William Simpson is recorded as working in Banff c1825-1855.
The forks marked with the Maker's Mark WS for William Simpson, the thistle mark and letter B for Banff.
They have the initial Y engraved.
The forks measure 6 3/4" inches (170mm) in length. The weight is 181.2g.
They are in excellent condition, but have some wear to the tines as can be expected.
They would make a great addition to any collection.
