We are offering for sale this beautiful Murano bullicante table lamp. The inner core of the lamp is opaque white glass, with a layer of bullicante (controlled bubbles) with pink swirls around them and covered with a clear ribbed outer coating. There is a manufactured ridge in the base to allow for the flex to exit without affecting the stability of the lamp.

The island of Murano in the Venetian Lagoon is where all the world famour Murano glass factories are situated. In the middle of the twentieth century, a large number of beautiful lamps of many differing designs featuring bullicante, aventurine inclusions, cordonato d'oro etc. were produced, many of them being exported to the USA.

This would be a beautiful lamp for a bedroom particularly and we have left it unshaded to allow the purchaser to choose the style and colour of the shade to suit their own decor. The shade shown is purely for demonstration purposes.

It is recommended that all electrical items be checked by a certified electrician before use.

Condition Excellent. There are no chips, cracks, nibbles, fleabites and the glass is in perfect condition.
