Marquetry Tray Top Etagere Whatnot
This is an outstanding quality and condition mahogany and satinwood marquetry oval tray top "etagere" or whatnot with its original glass bottom tray and all brass mounts.
Beautifully made and a very elegant piece and has been lightly cleaned and polished, now looking its best.
The work and detail to this etagere is exceptional, not just to the table itself, but the original oval glass bottom tray is beautifully made too.
Made by W.F. Greenwood & Sons of York, circa 1920.

34” or 86.5cm high
35” or 89cm wide
20” or 51cm deep
12 1/4” or 31cm height between surface and tray top Based in Uppingham, Rutland…having been in the business for 25 years focusing on mostly French and English decorative antiques and interiors from the 18th to the early 20th century, hopefully a collection you will enjoy browsing and hopefully re home some of my finds!
