Marquetry Inlaid Octagonal Centre Table
A fine Edwardian Sheraton Revival mahogany small centre or large occasional table of octagonal form, the top and apron having rosewood banding, ebony, and boxwood line inlay. The square tapering legs and shaped under-tier are decorated with boxwood line inaly and superbly finely detailed hand-cut floral marquetry inlay. Raised on original brass shoe castors.

Condition This table is in original structural condition. The polish has been re-finished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are some old marks under the polish as might be expected on an example of this age, but in this case all extremely minor. The brass castors have been hand-cleaned.
