fine quality longcase grandfather antique clock by William Pearson, Berwick-On-Tweed.
the beautifully painted face depicting a man with his horse and charming pastoral scenes representing the four seasons, has subsidiary seconds and date dials.
the case in wonderfully figured flame mahogany with cushion mouldings, cushion door and moulded columns, the hood has swan neck pediment and brass eagle finial.
the fully serviced eight day movement strikes the hour on a bell.
normal minor marks to the woodwork commensurate with age and a few old ( long dead and not visable) worm holes but overall this really is a very good quality clock in good working order.
