Circa 1880, unusual circular jardinière stand. The solid mahogany dish top has a wrap around open fretwork brass gallery. Unusually the top has a lock at the front, and opens to show a lift out fitted interior. The whole piece stands on four unusual open fretwork legs, with cast brass lion mask ring handles at the top. The legs taper towards the base. There is concave platform shelf at the bottom and the whole piece stands on 3 cast brass hairy paw feet. Excellent side table or lamp table.

Size 79cm high x 30cm diameter.
