This is really rather special, an inlaid pedestal desk from the turn of the century, circa 1900. It is lovely quality with the original handles which are in excellent order and all in place. There is a gallery at the back, also inlaid with two intricately detailed finials at the ends. The black leather is tooled around the edge and the drawers are nice and clean inside and out. The top around the leather has been re French polished in our workshops and the remainder has been cleaned and waxed so all looks really smart. The kneehole is a good useable size at 61cms high and there is an inlaid desk chair that fits with this rather well. It has a splay on the leg as does the desk on its pretty little bracket feet. It would be difficult not to be very pleased with this desk especially at the competitive price. We have been in business for 40 years and are now coming up to retirement. We are in consequence looking to reduce our stock, Delivery can be arranged with a specialist carrier for around £70 to most areas. We now open by appointment, but we are often open Fridays and Saturdays, but cannot guarantee,( our sign will be out if passing ) it is worth ringing before coming.Tel 01565 874075
