A handsome late Victorian mahogany open bookcase, having an over-hung top above an arrangement of three adjustable shelves flanked by pilasters with carved trusses, and raised on a plinth base shaped in the form of bracket feet.

Condition and Details of Restoration
This item is in original structural condition and is completely sound. The polish has been refinished, by our own craftsmen, by hand in the traditional manner. There are minor old marks underneath the polish. There is a small knot-hole in the top of the back not visible during use, and covered with hessian patch from the rear.
