The first was in 1878, Medaille D'Or (Gold Medal) in Paris and in 1885 when it was awarded the Grand Diplome D'Honneur ( Grand Diploma of Honour) at Anvers (Antwerp) in Belgium.

Press winder to release case front and then lift the case front to reveal the dial. The spring no longer pulls the case open.
Lever Hand Set - to set the hands, open case front and pull out lever at 4, then turn winder. Remember to push lever back in before closing case front.
The case is made from the 0.800 grade of silver.
The movement, dial and case are all signed Longines.
The ornately decorated silver case is in very good condition.
There are surface marks associated with normal use and age. There is one small dent on the edge of the case.
In period watch box with green interior. The exterior of the box is scuffed.
Approximate dimensions: diameter 49.5mm, weight 97 grams, weight with box 170.7 grams.
the watch has been serviced and is working well.
Movement guaranteed for 12 months.
