This is an unusual Late Victorian Art Nouveau Silver Vesta Case decorated with C scrolls, iris, acanthus leaves and gilt wash interior.

The Vesta weighs 21g and measures 43mm x 30mm x 10mm.

Made by Silversmith Joseph Glaster and Hallmarked in the Birmingham Assay Office in 1896.

The Vesta is in good condition with one small dink in the plain section as photographed.
