Late George III Mahogany and Inlaid Cylinder Desk


Circa 1810, late George III mahogany, satinwood and inlaid cylinder writing desk. With decorative inlay and an oval panel to the top depicting two women drawing and painting, the cylinder section has similarly got inlaid designs. It opens to a pull out writing surface in green tooled and gilded leather, and a variety of dummy and real drawers. It all stands on tapered, inlaid legs and finishes on brass cups and brass castors.
