Large Victorian Mahogany Partners Desk
A good quality 19th Century mahogany pedestal partners desk. The cross banded and thumb moulded top having a very good tooled leather writing surface with blind and gilt tooling. One side having 9 graduated and cockbeaded drawers with the brass ring handles and escutcheons. The reverse with 3 dummy drawers and 2 cupboards with panelled doors and shelved interiors, again with brass ring handles. The pedestals having panelled double panels to each side and the whole raised on very good ogee bracket feet with hidden castors below. In very good condition, cleaned and waxed, mahogany lined throughout and with working locks and keys. Ready for the home or office. Dimensions - Height .. 30.5’’ / 77.5cm. Width .. 60’’ / 153cm. Depth .. 39.5’’ / 100.5cm. Kneehole height .. 24.5’’ / 62cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £75.
