A large and unusual mahogany Mid-Victorian library chair. The shaped and curved cresting rail with a well decorated carved and pierced splat, with the arms supported by the side rails. The large stuff over upholstered seat with serpentine front, resting on slightly splayed back legs and elegant cabriole legs to the front, finishing on a curled foot and brass castors beneath.
