Large late 19th.c. English school painting of cattle by a river c.1880. Beautifully painted in oil on canvas, though the artist is unfortunately unrecorded. With an old repair by the cattle on the right hand side of the picture. Otherwise very good condition, presented on the original stretcher in a moulded and gilded frame.
