Rare and unusual golf advertising statue,c1950.Almost life size, standing at 142cm,it depicts the famous Scottish golfer and golf course designer James Braid. The statue is fibreglass and he is holding a metal putter which looks original to the piece. The colours are still vibrant and overall condition is good in line with age and use. There are small areas of cracking/loss around the base ,but very minor for a piece of this age. It would be a great addition to any man/woman cave or for anyone interested in golf or advertising pieces.
