Large French Gold Painted Carved Bed Head Board

This is a superb piece, unfortunately we only have the headboard rather than the whole bed, the headboard is carved from wood and is in its original mellow cream paint with Gold detail. The headboard has twining Scrolls and leaves with a harvest sheaf at the centre and a Shell motif at the top

The bed could be fixed to a wall but it has brackets added to fix it to a Divan, we have left these on to make it useable with a divan bed or similar to make your own bed into a Decorative French Chateau Bed
The headboard is heavy, it is in good original un restored condition, with natural aged patination
The Headboard is will take a bed between 74” wide up to 82” wide, it is 65” high
