Large Antique Mahogany Extending Dining Table
Offered for sale is this superb quality oval Edwardian mahogany extending dining table measuring 57" x 47.5" extending to 93" x 47.5" with two leaves and dating to about 1900 1910. The oval extending dining table has a moulded edge above a skirt line inlaid with boxwood and ebony and crossbanded in satinwood on square tapered supports with spade feet an brass and ceramic castors, the legs inlaid the same as the skirt. The table will seat 8 - 10. The table is in excellent showroom condition having been sympathetically repolished and the extending mechanism works very smoothly. The table is a rich mellow brown colour. Over the past 30 years we have sold over a thousand sets of chairs along with hundreds of dining antique tables to satisfied customers.
