A French Kingwood and rosewood secretaire a’ abbattant, in the Louis XVI taste, the vined marble top,above conforming serpentine front with a single short draw over a fall front secretaire, enclosing drawers and shelf with blue tooled leather writing surface, above four further drawers, all fitted with Rococo style gilt metal handles and key escutcheons, between canted front corners with gilt metal caryatid and foliated mounts, raised on a shaped plinth
