Very nice quality and beautifully carved French walnut Louis xv style bed, circa 1900
Fantastic carving and mouldings throughout the bed, quarter veneer pattern to the head and footboard panels and original side rails too. All with a good mid walnut tone and well polished
We supply the bed to you complete with a bespoke made supporting upholstered box base that sits on the frame of the bed to hold your standard size mattress 5' x 6'6'' or 150cm x 200cm. The supporting base also give a little more height, rather than using slats for example. The bed is also delivered free of charge within 125 miles of Oakham and will be put up for you.
I have very good quality pocket sprung mattresses available too, if required
