Kendal & Dent Pocket Watch Navy inscription 1898


A Solid Silver Pocket Watch by Famous Kendal and Dent London in fine working order having been recently serviced with Hall Hallmarks for Chester 1898
A special presentation watch present to G.Reebes by Navy officers and members of the Portsmouth Lodge in March 1898
Fine quality English Fusee movement with engraved Kendal & Dent on watch plate , takes a full wind and runs for 24 hours keeping good time , with inner dust cover protector
The silver case in lovely original condition , hinges all good ,strong top loop, back of the case with plain cartouche and engine turned engraved , still with original crystal glass bezelled edged does have some age scratch marks nothing much , strong silver case of good weight of silver 130 grams ,watch size 51mm diameter
The White enamel dial still in excellent condition without cracks or chips , gold coloured hands and small 60 second dial
Comes with a really nice old Victorian watch key crown shape
This is quite a rare and special watch to find by Great maker and the late Victorian Navy
