Half Hunter Chronograph Pocket Watch

An 18 Kt yellow gold J.W. Benson keyless wind, half hunter chronograph pocket watch, made in England in the 1900’s.

Dial: The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals with outer minute divisions and outer 5-60-minute numbers. The dial has blued double spade hands. The protective glass is in good condition. To change the hands, push the button at the two.

Movement: The anchor lever movement has a compensation steel balance and blued steel balance spring. The movement is in good working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The ¾ plate movement is signed: “Examined By J.W. Benson, 62&64 Ludgate Hill, London, Swiss Made, Watchmaker By Warrants to The Queen & The Prince Of Wales” and numbered: N.264445.

Case: The pocket watch lies in an 18 Kt yellow gold half hunter case with a smooth finish. The case is fully stamped for 18 Kt gold and numbered: 264445. There are rubbed hallmarks.
